The Bloom Project Central Oregon began in our founder’s garage in November 2007. With a few flowers and friends gathered, we began to create bedside bouquets for hospice patients in the community.
We have grown to serve six hospice and palliative care organizations that care for patients throughout the region. Our thanks to the nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers that deliver the bouquets to patients in their homes or care facilities each week. Flowers are donated to The Bloom Project by local area grocery stores and florists.
We are grateful to SIMA Corporation for the use of our workspace at Cascade Village Shopping Center. Thanks to their generosity, we have called this space home since June of 2009.
The community has supported The Bloom Project through donations of vases, supplies, equipment and professional services. Local businesses, individuals and foundations have given financial support to the project as well.
We look forward to providing a gift of beauty and joy with fresh flower bouquets to encourage patients and their families for years to come!
